Convert BCA Statement PDF to Excel or CSV

BCA gives you the same statement through several channels. Any of them works here, as long as you upload the PDF file itself rather than a photo or a scan of a printout.

myBCA (web and app)

Open myBCA, go to your account, and choose e-Statement. Pick the month you need and download. This is the quickest route for a personal tahapan or tahapan gold account.

KlikBCA Individual

Sign in, open e-Statement (or Mutasi Rekening for a shorter period), select the account and month, and save the PDF.

KlikBCA Bisnis

Business and giro accounts are downloaded here. The file is titled REKENING GIRO and its header shows NO. REKENING, PERIODE and MATA UANG. Monthly giro statements often run to ten pages or more, which is normal and fine to upload in one go.

A printed statement from a branch

If all you have is paper, scan it at 300 dpi or higher and keep the page straight. A clean scan usually converts, but a native PDF from myBCA or KlikBCA will always be more accurate, because the text is real text rather than an image.

Tip: the file BCA emails you each month is already the right format. There is no need to open it in another program and re-save it first — that sometimes strips the text layer and makes the file harder to read.

A BCA statement has five printed columns. Here is what happens to each one.

• TANGGAL — printed as day and month only, such as 01/07. The year is taken from the PERIODE line at the top of the statement (for example PERIODE : JULI 2026) and written into every row, so your dates sort correctly in Excel.
• KETERANGAN — the description. BCA splits this across several lines and two sub-columns: the transaction type on the left (TRSF E-BANKING CR, KR OTOMATIS, BI-FAST DB, KARTU KREDIT, BIAYA ADM) and the detail on the right (reference number, MID, the amount as typed, your berita note, and the counterparty name). All of it is joined back into one Description cell. Nothing is dropped.
• CBG — the branch code, such as 0998 or 0960. Kept in the Raw Data tab.
• MUTASI — the amount. BCA writes DB after debits and leaves credits unmarked, so the direction comes from that marker, not from a guess. Debits go to the Withdrawal column, credits to Deposit.
• SALDO — the balance. BCA only prints this once per group of transactions, not on every line. We compute the running balance for every row and then check it against each balance BCA actually printed.

Two tabs, two purposes

Smart Data is the clean five-column layout most people want for bookkeeping: Date, Description, Withdrawal, Deposit, Balance. Raw Data keeps the statement as printed — Tanggal, Keterangan, CBG, Mutasi, DB/CR and Saldo — for when you need to tie a row back to the original page.

Every BCA statement ends with a short summary block:

• SALDO AWAL — the opening balance
• MUTASI CR — total credits, followed by the number of credit transactions
• MUTASI DB — total debits, followed by the number of debit transactions
• SALDO AKHIR — the closing balance

That block is used as a check, not decoration. After reading your transactions we add up the credits and the debits, count them, and compare all four figures against what BCA printed. We also replay the running balance and compare it to every balance shown on the statement.

If any of those disagree, the file is not returned as a finished conversion. You will not get a spreadsheet that looks tidy but quietly drops a transaction or puts an amount on the wrong side.

The PDF asks for a password

I need several months in one spreadsheet

Convert each month and combine the sheets, or merge the PDFs first with our free merge tool and upload the single file. Balances stay in order either way, because each statement carries its own SALDO AWAL.

Excel shows my dates as text, or in the wrong order

This is an Excel locale setting, not the file. Select the date column, then use Data > Text to Columns > Finish, or set the column format to Date. Exporting to CSV and importing with the right locale also fixes it.

My statement is a photo taken with a phone

Re-download the PDF from myBCA or KlikBCA instead. A photograph loses the text layer, and the numbers then have to be read from the image, which is far less reliable for a statement full of similar-looking amounts.

The amounts have dots and commas the other way round

Indonesian statements write 24.436.310,32 in some exports and 24,436,310.32 in others. Both are read correctly; the output uses one consistent format so Excel treats it as a number.
